Children and young people's needs at the center
The Tulipantunet project consists of 24 modern terraced houses. The main idea was to create "the good living environment", especially for younger people and families with children. Their desire for a car-free and safe living environment was the mainstay of the project development.
Walking distance to everything you need
Tulipantunet is centrally located in Løken in Lørenskog municipality, within walking distance of schools, kindergartens, library, cinema, cultural center, Triaden shopping center and several grocery stores.
It is a short distance to Østmarka with hiking trails for both walking and cycling. In winter, illuminated ski slopes are just minutes away. From the bus stop at Tulipantunet, there are direct buses to Oslo, Lillestrøm, Blindern and Grorud.
Green and safe public spaces
The architect's vision was to create a variety of materials and green elements that would provide residents with a functional and comfortable living environment.
The heart of Tulipantunet is a sunny, car-free community garden with fruit trees, playground and herb garden. Around this green oasis, the buildings were arranged as terraced houses with direct access to the communal area. All the homes have generous spatial solutions with a roof terrace, two living rooms, three bedrooms and a carport.
