Construction start in Porsgrunn

Seltor Bolig and Skien Boligbyggelag have decided to start a new construction phase at Porsgrunn Vest.

The 21 homes in stage 1 were quickly sold out, and 10 new homes were launched in September. Within a short time, 3 homes were sold and the first 4 homes are now being launched.

"This project is proof that the combination of housing type with well-thought-out and good solutions, modern architecture and the right location attracts interest in the market and sells well, says real estate agent Heidi Solvang at Eiendomsmegler1 Nybygg.

Excavation work began the day after the decision to start construction was made, and the first homes will be completed within about a year. All the homes will be built over two levels and will have several private patios, a garden area with exclusive use rights and a garage.

Seltor Bolig and Skien Boligbyggelag are behind the Porsgrunn Vest project, and it will be organized as a housing cooperative affiliated with Skien Boligbyggelag. 

Solvang emphasizes that there has been a lot of interest in this housing project over time, and that the interested parties are mainly people from the Grenland district.These are housing types that suitable for different stages of life. In the first stage, there is everything from single people and families with children to well-grown and established who have replaced an older detached house. We believe that this will also reflect the buyer group in stage 2, says Solvang.

There are major plans for further development on this centrally located site on Vestsiden, and 5 apartment buildings are planned with a total of approx. 80 apartments with great sun and views.

This is the second housing project Seltor Bolig is starting construction this fall. "The common denominator for both these projects is a very attractive and central location, flexible floor plans and good outdoor spaces," Linde adds.
